About William Block

William Block is an American architect, artist and animator living in the Savoie region of France. His work explores the relationship between architecture, place and storytelling, combining architectural thinking with the expressive possibilities of drawing, illustration and animation.

Throughout his career, he has developed concepts and visual narratives for urban environments, community planning, mixed-use developments and the entertainment industry. His approach brings places to life through drawings that communicate not only how they might look, but how they might feel, function and evolve.

From large-scale urban concepts to illustrated stories and animated films, William uses visual storytelling to make complex ideas accessible, engaging and memorable.
